Nairobi National Park. This unique wildlife sanctuary is tucked just 10 kilometers away from the bustling city center of Nairobi. Nairobi National Park is the perfect place for a half-day or full day excursion from the Kenyan capital. One of the only places on earth where you can be on safari with skyscrapers as part of your backdrop, it’s an ideal layover escape or add-on to your existing safari.Several animal species roam within this park including four members of the big five, exceptional being the elephant. Animals to be found here include; lions, leopards, zebras, rhinos, wildebeests, and other species including beautiful bird life.

David Sheldrick Wildlife Trusts which is home to orphaned and rescued elephants and rhinos and thus the Trust provides a home for them until when it is ready to re-introduce them back into the wild. Get to learn more of this efforts and how you can get involved.

The Giraffe Center provides a safe haven for orphaned and rescued giraffes and they take care of them and also re-introduce them back into the wild when ready. The African Fund for Endangered Wildlife also carries out other activities related to conservation.

Day 1 Nairobi National Park with Giraffe Center and Elephant Orphange Visit

Nairobi National Park tour begins at 0630 Hours. This unique wildlife sanctuary is tucked just 10 kilometers away from the bustling city center of Nairobi
