Spend a full day exploring Lake Nakuru National Park, Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary and home to one of the largest black and white rhino populations. Enjoy game drives spotting lions, buffalo, zebras, gazelles, hippos, and an abundance of birdlife. Visit the scenic Malaika Waterfalls, relax with a picnic lunch, and continue your safari before returning to Nairobi for drop-off at your hotel or residence.

Itinerary

Lake Nakuru houses Kenya's first rhino sanctuary and one of the largest concentrations of black rhinoceros in the world and a large population of white rhino. The Park features the picturesque Malaika Waterfalls. Get to see Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, the long- eared leaf-nosed bat, colobus monkey, rock hyrax, hippo, and waterbuck; Impala, striped hyena, bat-eared fox, wildcat, reedbuck and golden cat.

We will spend a delightful day exploring the extra ordinary bird life and wildlife for which Lake Nakuru is internationally renowned. Enjoy a game drive where if lucky you get to enjoy viewing the endangered black rhino, white rhino, wild dog, Zebra, eland, water buck, lions, buffalo among others.

Afterwards, we will head to the picnic spot for lunch then continue on with our game drive.

We will then start our exit out and depart for Nairobi

Points to Note
  • This is a full day tour with pick up at 5:00am so that we are the park by 8am
  • The tour allows for a game drive for the better part of the morning exploring the park
  • Later, head for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge after we wind down with a game drive as we exit
  • You will have a qualified Driver-Guide for your tour
  • Bottled Water will be provided
  • You are encouraged to purchase some snacks/ biting's for yourself
  • Remember to carry a Jacket/ Sweater as it gets chilly when the roof is open
  • Pick Up and Drop off is included - Remember to send over your address to help coordinate this
  • Park Entry Fees has to be pre-paid either by us (if indicated) or by yourself (a guide will be provided)
